Polarstern is a sustainability communications agency based in Lucerne and Solothurn. True to the motto ‘inspiring, clear and honest’, they support companies and organisations with a wide range of services. They develop targeted communication strategies, create appealing corporate designs, fill publications with content tailored to the target group and serve relevant media with good stories at the right time.
By 2025, we generate 85 % of our revenue from sustainability communication mandates, compared with 74% in 2022.*
* We define sustainability communication as any communication focussing on sustainable development. Mandates include sustainability reports, climate campaigns, websites on sustainability, social media posts with news on a best practices or the organisation of an event on a sustainability topic, among other things.

Scope of pledges
Polarstern SA operates in Switzerland. The pledges taken within the STI framework relate to the sustainability policy applying to all Polarstern SA operations carried out in Switzerland. The company is therefore accountable for their implementation within the limits of its scope of activity.
