Goal 1

Core Business

By 2028, we increase our well maintenance mandates by 10 % compared with 2024 and train at least one specialist to ensure a seamless water supply, with a focus on sustainability through targeted training on water supply and network maintenance.*

* This enables us to keep water loss below 10 % in 66 % of the municipalities we serve using measurement systems.

Goal 2

Internal Operations

By 2030, we reduce our tCO₂eq emissions by 25 % compared with 2024 (Scope 1 & 2, particularly from buildings), in line with the Swiss government’s climate targets, and cover 100 % of our electricity needs from sustainable sources by 2026.*

* The first step is the renovation of our building envelope in 2025. We prioritise sustainable sources through our own photovoltaic production, offset any remaining deficits with certified green electricity and calculate our tCO₂eq emissions annually.

Goal 3

Supply Chain

By 2030, we double the environmental criterion in our annual supplier assessment compared with 2024, based on systematic data evaluations by 2026, in order to strengthen transparency and ecological impact in the supply chain.*

* The weighting of the ‘environment’ criterion increases from the current 10 % to 20 %. This is based on supplier data collected annually in accordance with internal documentation, analysed and evaluated by 2026. Among other things, delivery routes, packaging, environmental targets, measures to achieve climate targets, CO₂ balance and the drive technology of the vehicle fleet are assessed. The aim is to use improved transparency in the supply chain to introduce targeted measures such as collective orders, supplier discussions, awareness-raising or changes.

Scope of pledges

Heinis AG operates in Switzerland. The pledges taken within the STI framework relate to the sustainability policy applying to all Heinis AG operations carried out in Switzerland. The company is therefore accountable for their implementation within the limits of its scope of activity.
