The pathway

The Value Chain Activation Pathway brings together companies to facilitate collaborations along the same value chains. It is a progressive improvement process in which a company decides to engage its suppliers, distributors and/or clients in order to improve its own impact in terms of sustainability.

A roadmap is defined beforehand with the company, including the main deliverables and the scope of the value chain activation

intervention (amount of suppliers/distributors, and expected outcome).

The Value Chain Activation Pathway follows a cycle of 4 phases: calibration, implementation, consolidation, and monitoring. Besides, it is available to members and non-members of our ecosystem and can be combined with other programmes.

The pathway in practice

Duration: 4.5 days, during which companies from the same value chain work on topics of common interest.
Format: workshops for groups of 6 to 10 companies (with the possibility to activate several cohorts in parallel).
Outcome: 3 to 5 commitments per participating company with concrete action plans, including potential collective commitments.
Achievement: Companies that have successfully completed the programme are given the opportunity to be included in the STI Directory on a voluntary basis.
