Goal 1

Core Business
By 2028, we reduce our consumption of critical chemicals, cutting acetone use by 90 % compared with no reduction in 2022, and eliminate the use of perchloroethylene entirely.*
* By replacing acetone stripping with leach stripping (changing glue to hold on for machining), and other less harmful replacement components. Representing a total annual reduction of 63,000 l of acetone and 8,000 l of perchloroethylene. Protecting the health of our employees and guaranteeing the safety of the building.

Goal 2

Internal Operations
By 2027, we limit the increase in drinking water consumption to 40 % as a result of the reduction in harmful chemicals used in the production of needles, instead of an estimated increase of 75 % without these measures.*
* Following the change in process from acetone to leaching, water consumption soared by 75 % (see target 1). Representing a total saving of 3,000 m3 of drinking water per year.

Goal 3

Internal operations
By 2028, all our employees benefit from an ergonomic approach that reduces physical exertion, according to the PMSE 2023 audit.*
* Process carried out by an external expert organisation. In 2023, only workstations with a medical certificate are concerned.

Goal 4

Internal Operations
By 2024, we contribute to ensuring the employability of all our employees, offering them at least half a day’s training per year on average, aimed at developing their professional skills or their knowledge of sustainability.
