Goal 1

Core Business

By 2028, we reduce our metal waste from production by 10 % compared with 2025, in proportion to production hours.*

* Since 2023, we have been using productive hours as a clear sustainability indicator to ensure comparability between periods. The target adjustment specifies the focus and promotes waste reduction and efficiency. Different baselines are used for different materials, which are not disclosed for confidentiality reasons.

Goal 2

Internal Operations

By 2028, we achieve an 80 % satisfaction rate among all our employees and obtain the “Great Place To Work®” recertification. * The current structural development within the group – including the expansion of the company, the recent acquisitions of subsidiaries, the creation of a common culture, and the introduction of management principles – does not yet allow for fully representative results for 2025. Employee well-being survey in 2021, conducted by Great Place To Work®. Equal pay already achieved through the L&M-Aba-R® and the collective labor agreement of the Swiss watch and microtechnology industry.

Goal 3

Internal operations

By 2030, we reduce our tCO2eq emissions (Scope 1 & 2) by 30 % compared with 2022 on a like-for-like basis, and our climate reduction targets are aligned with the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi).*

* Despite intensive efforts, we have therefore decided to adjust this ambitious target to the current situation in order to make the necessary investments in infrastructure as efficient as possible.

Goal 4

Supply chain

By 2027, our main suppliers (by spend) comply with our Code of Conduct.*

* Achieving long-term consensus in pursuit of the SDGs on climate change mitigation and responsible production. Based on our Audit Plan 2027, audited by internal auditors on site or by video and with questionnaires.

Scope of pledges

CMSA operates in Switzerland. The CMSA group of companies is represented by CMSA Holding SA (ie. Cendres+Métaux Holding SA). The pledges taken within the STI framework apply to the sustainability policy for all activities of CMSA Holding SA in Switzerland. The company is therefore accountable for their implementation within the limits of its field of activity.
