Goal 1

Core Business

By 2030, we replace 100% of synthetic cutting oil with vegetable oil, compared with 0% in 2023.*

* Representing a fundamental element for our production, all our machining centers use cutting oil. This change enables an average reduction of 35 tCO2eq per year, figure to be confirmed and adapted if necessary after third-party validation. Vegetable cutting oil is less harmful to health, see safety data sheet. The evaporation rate is also reduced, cutting annual consumption by at least 2%.

Goal 2

Internal Operations

By 2030, we reduce our tCO2eq emissions (Scope 1 & 2) by 42 % compared with 2019, in line with the reduction pathway adopted when joining the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in 2025.*

* Production on site at Boninchi, but choice of raw materials defined by customers, so the margin for improvement is mainly in Scope 1 and 2.

Goal 3

Internal operations

By 2026, we have all our manual assembly and office automation workstations validated by an ergonomist, ensuring physical well-being in the workplace.*

* Carried out by an external expert organisation.

Boninchi SA operates in Switzerland. The pledges taken within the STI framework relate to the sustainability policy applying to all operations of Boninchi SA carried out in Switzerland. The company is therefore accountable for their implementation within the limits of its scope of activity.
