Blueyou is a globally active, “impact-first” company based in Switzerland, which has been committed to marine conservation, nature-based aquaculture, sustainable coastal fisheries, and fair trade in the seafood sector for 20 years. Blueyou is a pioneer and global trailblazer in the field of regenerative and climate-friendly seafood production and works with more than 9’500 small-scale producers in countries of the global South.
By 2030, we achieve 50 % of our global sales turnover with farmed and wild caught seafood products from the “Planet Positive – Eat for Change” portfolio, which are produced within planetary boundaries.*
By 2030, we increase the total area of our restorative mangrove aquaculture programme SELVA SHRIMP to 50’000 ha compared with 17’400 ha in 2023, of which the reforestation of 15’000 ha of mangroves will result in an estimated carbon sequestration of 3,7 million tCO2eq over 20 years.*

By 2028, more than 75 % of our seafood sources come from traditional coastal fisheries and smallholder origins, and 55 % are certified fair trade.*
By 2030, we reduce our tCO2eq footprint by 25 % (Scope 1, 2 & 3) per marketed product unit compared with our 2023 baseline, in line with the reduction trajectory agreed as part of our commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in 2024.

Blueyou operates in various markets around the world through a number of subsidiaries with clear operational and commercial boundaries. In Switzerland, the company is represented by Blueyou Trading GmbH. The pledges taken within the STI framework relate to the sustainability policy of the entire Blueyou group of companies worldwide, under the central management of the global holding company, Blueyou Services AG, based in Switzerland. The latter is responsible for the worldwide implementation of the STI targets in all subsidiaries.
