Programme Coordinator – Impact Programmes (80–100%)

B Lab Switzerland is looking for a Programme Coordinator (80–100%, Geneva or Lausanne) to coordinate its Impact Programmes, facilitate workshops and support companies in turning sustainability ambitions into credible commitments.

Why joining us

Context

B Lab Switzerland Foundation (soon Prospera) works with businesses to accelerate the transition towards an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy. The role sits within the Impact Programmes cluster, which works directly with businesses and groups of stakeholders to turn sustainability ambitions into practical commitments and action.

A key ambition of the Impact Programmes is to create change beyond individual companies by working across sectors, value chains and groups of businesses to enable collective action and systemic transformation.

Role and mission

The Programme Coordinator helps turn sustainability ambition into credible action by coordinating programmes, facilitating collective work and supporting companies in defining and delivering meaningful commitments. The role combines programme coordination, stakeholder engagement and workshop design and facilitation.

Rather than supporting one company at a time, you will help convene businesses around shared challenges and opportunities, including across value chains and sectors. You will work directly with business stakeholders, gain broad exposure to the Swiss sustainability ecosystem and build a strong network while contributing to programmes designed to unlock collective action.

Core responsabilities

Programme & project coordination

  • Coordinate assigned programmes and projects end-to-end, from planning and delivery to follow-up, ensuring actions, timelines and next steps are on track.
  • Coordinate participating companies, brands, suppliers and partners, and manage the operational and administrative aspects of programme delivery.

Workshop design & facilitation

  • Design and facilitate engaging workshops and working sessions adapted to different business contexts and stakeholder groups.
  • Prepare agendas and materials, guide discussions towards concrete outcomes and contribute to the continuous improvement of programme formats.
  • Communicate clearly and diplomatically across different levels of seniority, sectors and organisational cultures.

Stakeholder engagement & commitment follow-up

  • Anticipate needs and ensure that stakeholders feel well supported while maintaining programme objectives.
  • Engage with prospective companies and partners, clearly articulating the value and relevance of B Lab Switzerland’s programmes and building interest in participation.
  • Follow up on sustainability commitments and assess their relevance and credibility, knowing when to draw on additional technical expertise.

Preferred qualifications, skills & knowledge

Profile

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, with a strong track record of independently managing projects, programmes, clients or stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to design and facilitate workshops with professional audiences; confident in front of groups and able to adapt facilitation to different stakeholders and contexts.
  • Structured and reliable: you keep timelines and budgets on track, manage partners smoothly and follow details through to completion.
  • Experience in sustainability, ESG, responsible business or a related field. Able to understand sustainability topics sufficiently well to challenge, question and assess the credibility of company commitments.
  • Comfortable with CRM, project management and collaborative tools, and curious about and confident using technology tools to work more effectively.
  • Genuine interest in B Lab’s mission and in the role of business in driving positive systemic change.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, evolving and entrepreneurial environment, and willing to take ownership of both strategic and operational tasks.

Assets

  • Experience working with industry, value chains or multi-company initiatives; experience in the manufacturing and industrial sectors is a plus.
  • Familiarity with B Lab, the B Corp movement and/or its programmes, e.g. the Swiss Triple Impact (STI) or the Swiss Impact & Prosperity Initiative (impact.swiss).
  • Experience assessing environmental or social commitments, sustainability strategies, targets or action plans.
  • Knowledge or network within the Swiss sustainability and business ecosystem.

Languages

  • French – fluent, spoken and written (required).
