From design to manufacture, Werthanor handles every stage in the production of cases, bracelets and clasps, using both traditional and innovative materials.

Goal 1

Core Business

By 2027, we recondition 100 % of used cutting tools, compared with no reconditioning in 2022.*

* Representing an average of 200 kg of metal waste and the only metal production waste not recycled yet.

Core Business

By 2026, we increase the proportion of precious materials from traceable and responsible sources by obtaining Chain of Custody (CoC) certification from the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), compared with no CoC certification in 2022.

Goal 3

Supply Chain

By 2026, 100% of our main Tier 1 suppliers meet our sustainable sourcing principles and are Sedex members.*

* SMETA audit according to Sedex with corrective action plan (regular visits by management, charter with highly demanding social and environmental criteria). We also support subcontractors with non-critical non-conformities on the basis of action plans and regular follow-up. The main Tier 1 suppliers together account for 80% of our subcontracted production.

Goal 4

Internal Operations

By 2028, we reduce our direct supply of fossil gas energy by at least 80% compared with 2022, by reinjecting heat from compressors into a closed circuit, representing an annual average of 13% of our total energy consumption.*

Werthanor SA operates in Switzerland. The pledges taken within the STI framework apply to the sustainability policy for all activities of Werthanor SA in Switzerland. The company is therefore accountable for their implementation within the limits of its field of activity.
